4th Annual EDM Forum Stakeholder Symposium

Evidence, Data, & Methods to Build Learning Health Systems of the Future

June 7, 2014 | Hilton San Diego Bayfront | San Diego

Ever Wondered How to Build a Learning Health System?

Everyone is talking about learning health systems – but what does it take to build a system that learns from every patient or every encounter with a community member? The Fourth Annual EDM Forum Symposium featured experts at the front lines of building learning systems that improve patient care and outcomes. Participants engaged in collaborative discussions about ways to advance data from electronic health records and other forms of electronic data such as mHealth. Over 150 experts were in attendance, representing diverse perspectives from the public and private sector and discussing ways to use big health data to improve population health, quality improvement, health care operations, research and discovery.
